Story: This is a story about love, a story of passion for a Queen and her country. It tells how a German Prince played a huge role in changing the face of Britain.
He was an avid campaigner for better housing, working conditions and leisure opportunities for the poor. In his short life he made incredible changes. Without him this country would be a completely different matter.
Filming: This three part Drama, was filmed in a stunning stately Home in York, the history and beauty of the house was mind blowing. We had to remove lots and lots of modern items, but it was such a beautiful palette to work from, I wish I can have that everyday.
I am very passionate about Albert, I learned from him so much and discover a lot during my research and filming. I thank you again the Director Paul Olding for his support and insight during filming.
